§Kapitel 1. UCS@school-Update

Dieses Dokument enthält die Changelogs mit den detaillierten Änderungsinformationen zum Update von UCS@school von Version 4.1 R2 v9 nach 4.1 R2 v10. Sofern notwendig, werden wichtige Hinweise zum Update in einem separaten Abschnitt behandelt. Die Changelogs werden nur in Englisch gepflegt. Die Änderungsinformationen für vorherige Versionssprünge finden sich unter https://docs.software-univention.de/.

§1.1. Generelle Hinweise zum Update

Während der Aktualisierung kann es zu Ausfällen von Diensten innerhalb der Domäne kommen. Aus diesem Grund sollte das Update innerhalb eines Wartungsfensters erfolgen. Grundsätzlich wird empfohlen das Update zunächst in einer Testumgebung einzuspielen und zu testen. Die Testumgebung sollte dabei identisch zur Produktivumgebung sein.

§1.2.1. Source package ucs-school-umc-wizards

Single user roles (student, teacher, staff, teachersAndStaff) can now be disabled in UMC module Users (schools) via the UCR variable ucsschool/wizards/schoolwizards/users/roles/disabled (Bug 42349).
A logic error has been fixed that prevented the removal of a OU-overlapping user account from a secondary OU (Bug 43170).
Changes within the UCS@school lib required some internal adjustments to this package (Bug 41910).

§1.2.2. Source package ucs-school-umc-csv-import

Single user roles (student, teacher, staff, teachersAndStaff) can now be disabled in UMC module CSV import via the UCR variable ucsschool/csvimport/users/roles/disabled (Bug 41387) .
A broken code path that has never been executed has been removed from the postinst script of package ucs-school-umc-csv-import (Bug 41418).

§1.2.3. Source package ucs-school-webproxy

The file wpad.dat for browser proxy configuration is now created as a symlink to proxy.pac (Bug 31728).

§1.2.4. Source package ucs-school-netlogon-user-logonscripts

The name of the folder link on the user's desktop can now be set via UCR: ucsschool/userlogon/shares_foldername defaults to Eigene Shares. If the special folders My Files and My Pictures are redirected from local profile path to the user's network home directory, the directory names of those folder within user's home directory may now be specified via UCR: ucsschool/userlogon/myshares/name defaults to Eigene Dateien and ucsschool/userlogon/mypictures/name defaults to Eigene Bilder (Bug 37256).
The icons of the folders created by the netlogon script can now be set: ucsschool/userlogon/shares_folder_icon, ucsschool/userlogon/my_files_link_icon, ucsschool/userlogon/other_links_icon. The name of the My Files directory within the folder, created by the netlogon script, can now be set via the UCR variable ucsschool/userlogon/my_files_link_name (Bug 41375).
Whitespace in the list of share names in the UCR variable ucsschool/userlogon/commonshares is now handled more securely (Bug 43504).
Certain elements of the user netlogon script can now be disabled. See UCR descriptions for ucsschool/userlogon/create_myfiles_link, ucsschool/userlogon/create_shortcuts, ucsschool/userlogon/create_teacher_umc_link and ucsschool/userlogon/disabled_share_links/*. It is now possible to configure the path in which the directory for the links will be created by setting the UCR variable ucsschool/userlogon/shares_folder_parent_path (Bug 43526).

§1.2.5. Source package ucs-school-umc-helpdesk

The category creation upon package installation does not fail anymore (Bug 38389).

§1.2.6. Source package ucs-school-lib

Add support for complete removal of a ou-overlapping user from a secondary school, including removal of all groups (Bug 41910).
Adjust UMC wizard to behavioral change in UCS@school lib (Bug 43170).

§1.2.7. Source package ucs-school-umc-computerroom

The computerroom module now supports web links that point directly to the computerroom supervision/screenshot page (Bug 42356).

§1.2.8. Source package italc

A segfault in the UMC module Computer room has been fixed which occurred during receiving a screenshot from a client's computer (Bug 43244).
A segfault in the UMC module Computer room could occur randomly when determining the current user on a windows client. The segfault has now been fixed (Bug 43092).
