Source package ucs-school-metapackage in version 16.0.0:

  • UCS@school 5.2v4 requires the LDAP overlay module refint which is activated by default since UCS 5.0. To prevent problems in environments that have been installed with an older version of UCS/UCS@school, the UCR variable ldap/refint will be set to true by UCS@school during the installation. The module ensures referential integrity for the LDAP attributes uniqueMember, ucsschoolLegalGuardian and ucsschoolLegalWard (Bug #58585).

Source package ucs-school-import in version 19.2.8:

  • Add new UCS@school role “Legal Guardian”: The import logic, import hooks, UDM hooks, and HTTP import API have been extended to include the new role (Bug #58460).

Source package ucs-school-ldap-acls-master in version 19.1.2:

  • Add new UCS@school role “Legal Guardian”: The attributes ucsschoolLegalGuardian and ucsschoolLegalWard have been added to the UCS@school LDAP schema. In addition, the LDAP overlay module memberOf is activated for maintaining the two attributes. On the primary directory node, the integrity of both attributes is ensured via the overlay modules refint and constraint (Bug #58460).

  • Add new UCS@school role “Legal Guardian”: The UCS@school library has been comprehensively expanded to include process logic for legal guardians. The long deprecated fallback for role checks, based on the position of objects in the LDAP tree, has been removed (Bug #58460).

  • Add new UCS@school role “Legal Guardian”: The new attributes ucsschoolLegalGuardian and ucsschoolLegalWard have been added to the LDAP indices. A legal guardian user will be created for new installations in the DEMOSCHOOL (Bug #58460).
