Maintenance rules#
UCS@school bases upon UCS and has a technical dependency on a UCS version. The same definitions for major and minor releases of UCS apply to UCS@school, which therefore follows the basic rules of the Maintenance Cycle for UCS.
The maintenance cycle of major and minor UCS@school versions ends 6 months after the release of the following version.
The maintenance cycle of a patch level UCS@school version ends with the release of the following version.
If the maintenance cycle of UCS@school is going beyond the underlying UCS version, the maintenance cycle of this UCS version is extended accordingly.
Minor enhancements and fixes for small issues are continually provided by package updates through the Online-Update in Univention Corporate Server.
